The start of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 has been delayed again, though fortunately not for very long; Epic announced today that instead of starting on June 4 as planned, it will actually start on June 11.

As for the reason for the delay, Epic said only that they are "getting everything ready" for the new season. He also encouraged players to get their Season 2 business done now, including the Battle Pass challenge and the selection of characters for Brutus, TNTina, Meowscles, Skye, Midas, and Maya.

The Fortnite Doomsday event, called The Device, has also been postponed and will take place on June 6 at 2 p.m. ET, but Epic recommends that interested players come 30 minutes early to ensure a good seat.

This is not the first time Chapter 2 Season 3 has been postponed. Originally scheduled to end at the end of April, Epic postponed it to June 4 a few weeks earlier. This new postponement is quite short and hopefully will not be postponed again.
