General
Larian releases Baldur's Gate 3 gameplay teaser; release date June 6.

Not much is known about Baldur's Gate 3 at this point. It is set on the Sword Coast, but players may go to other planes or the Underdark, and it will be based on Larian's interpretation of the D&D 5th edition rule set, with Illithid being the bad guy and Githyanki being involved. It will be based on the D&D 5th edition rule set as interpreted by Larian.

There is much more to know and we will see more soon. Larian dropped a new teaser today and said that the official reveal will begin at the Guerrilla Collective showcase on June 6.

For many RPG fans of a certain age, questions about "Baldur's Gate 3" will focus primarily on how it matches up with the previous two games in the series. In that regard, I think it is safe to say that Divinity: In that regard, the game is very similar to Divinity: Original Sin. Larian is not trying to reinvent the wheel here, and we should never forget that "Baldur's Gate" is about 20 years old.

But I am curious how the developers intend to differentiate this game from the "Divinity" series. The "Original Sin" series is an excellent RPG, and I would like to see more of it, but if I'm going to play "Baldur's Gate", I want it to be "Baldur's Gate".

With that in mind, it is safe to say that I am really looking forward to learning more about what Larian has in store. The Guerrilla Collective kicks off on June 6 at 10am PT/1pm ET with news and announcements from over 20 indie developers and publishers, including 11 Bit Studios, Coffee Stain, New Blood, Raw Fury, ZA/UM, and of course Larian! There are.

On June 13, the PC Gaming Show will return, broadcasting from a new, as yet unannounced location at 12 pm PT (3 pm CST). Larian will be stopping by there, so stay tuned.
