Learn how to dismantle space salvage in Hardspace: Shipbreaker

Hardspace: Developer Blackbird Interactive has released a gameplay overview showcasing the various types of salvage expected when the game launches in Early Access on June 16.Hardspace: Shipbreaker puts players in the role of a spaceship as a salvage worker, engaging in dangerous blue-collar work!

The gameplay overview trailer describes the basic tools used to cut the ship, including manipulators to push and pull objects and laser saws to make large, precise cuts. Before cutting, however, players need to scan the ship and figure out what is going on inside to avoid coolant lines, fuel pumps, reactors, and valuable goodies. Don't want to cut up the nice furniture someone has left inside. I am particularly intrigued by the final stage of each demolition, the removal of the reactor core. By the way, all of this work is done in zero-G, which does not seem to be easy.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker will be released on June 16; Blackbird Interactive previously developed Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, which, like Shipbreaker It was well received as a nice and stylish game. We won't know for sure until it's released, but with Blackbird's pedigree, my hopes are high.Hardspace: Shipbreaker is available on Steam and the official website.
