Punch Out!" The mods who brought Doom to the

Nintendo's "Punch Out!" has found its place. The boxing game originated in arcades in 1983, on the NES in 1987, on the Wii in 2009, and on the Switch in 2018. And in 2020, "Punch Out! has finally landed in its destined place in "Doom".

Modder ddadd has been working on Punch-Out! and its characters in a 3D boxing ring within Doom, Doom 2wad. The original "Punch-Out!" unlike the original, Little Mac is free to move around the ring. Little Mac can now also move freely around the ring. Here is a video of the mods showing this wad in action:

As you can see, not only do you get the novel experience of beating up a punch-out boxer, but you can also step outside the ring and watch the boxers fight each other. Ever wonder how Soda Popinski would fight Mr. Sandman? Now you can find out from a safe distance.

You'll need zDoom (not gzDoom) and Doom 2 to get in the ring, and in true Doom fashion, the game also has a secret level: Mac punches his way through rooms and hallways full of boxers to get in the ring for the ultimate bare-knuckle fight with the revenant The game is a great way to get in on the action. Get ready for a doom-style brawl!
