'Fortnite' Season 3 May Go to Sea

Fortnite Season 3 has been delayed again, pushing the release back until June 11, but apparently someone at Sony didn't get the memo: the PS Store page was updated yesterday with an icon of a bus floating over the ocean and a small deserted island in the background, which has now disappeared.

No details are attached to the temporarily changed art, but it supports the theory that the island will be more damp in the next major update. Technically, that may have already happened, as players spotted puddles appearing as recently as a month ago.

These puddles are just the tip of the (melting) iceberg and could be leaking everything from loading screens to underwater animations.

Epic's flooding plans may date back to last year's short animation (cheers, Eurogamer). There is also a bus floating on the water, along with an uninhabited island that looks a lot like the new image, right down to the shape of the three trees.

Very crafty, Epic.

We will find out next week if these theories are correct.
