Humble, Ubisoft, DeVolva, and other gaming companies donate to Black Lives Matter and Peace and related causes

In the wake of the May 25 killing of police officer George Floyd and the subsequent protests against racist police violence, many game developers, publishers, and retailers have expressed their support for the Black Lives Matter movement on social media. Some have also begun donating money to support BLM and related causes, and have urged others to do the same.

The Humble Bundle has announced a $1 million fund dedicated to the publishing of games by black developers. It also encouraged users to support the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Race Forward, but unfortunately these organizations cannot be selected as charities that can be supported with Humble Bundle purchases.

Ubisoft pledged $100,000 to the NAACP and Black Lives Matter, stating that "the murder of George Floyd and the systemic racism faced by the black community is deeply disturbing and painful."

Devolver Digital and its employees donated $65,000 to support the Black Lives Matter movement through ActBlue, which allows donations to be divided among several organizations fighting racism and police brutality.
