The next chapter of Destiny 2 will be released on June 9, Bungie announced on Instagram last week. It is still accessible, just hidden. Now, Bungie has confirmed the date in another teaser below.

The first teaser shows Eris Mohn going for an unpleasant walk on Europa, presumably to investigate the ever-looming threat of "darkness." The new teaser cuts to Drifter, who jumps ship and heads to Europa, presumably to join Eris.

Drifter may have encountered Darkness before. He and his crew had spent centuries traveling through the galaxy, arriving at a desolate planet where they discovered a strange monolith.

The mysterious pyramid ship began orbiting Jupiter, of which Europa is a satellite. They are speculated to be of the Darkness - players encountered and eventually boarded the one hidden beneath Earth's moon in the previous expansion, Shadow Keep, but its purpose and final message have not appeared in the season story so far.

The unraveling of this mystery will begin with the release of the extended edition beginning June 9 at 5 p.m. BST/PDT (9 a.m./12 p.m. EDT), followed by the start of season 11.
