The sequel to the fun series Rock of Ages, where you roll heavy objects and smash things, is coming soon; the open beta for Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break begins June 9, and you can sign up on publisher Modus Games' website Rock of Ages first came out in 2011, back when Steam was releasing five or six new games a week. Then, in 2017, Rock of Ages 2: Bigger & Boulder was released, a punny title that made me want to cover my eyes. Frankly, I'm a little disappointed that the ACE team didn't come up with a better joke for the title of their third game.
Rock of Ages is a "competitive tower defense meets arcade action" game with a "Monty Python-esque" sense of humor; it was quite well received in 2011 and again in 2017, so I'm expecting this one to have a cheese wheel crush level of I expect quality. What you take away from these words is up to you.
The third banner feature is a system for creating new maps and sharing them with others online. I'm looking forward to creating a Mario Maker-like hell. Maybe we can even make some good maps. Only time will tell.
Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break can be found on the official site and on Steam. (I don't make good maps)
