"Chivalry 2" will be cross-played on both current and next-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles, a short announcement trailer has revealed.

In a now-deleted trailer on Deep Silver's official channel, discovered by Twinfinite, this multiplayer medieval slash-'em-up is Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, as well as full cross-play between all platforms.

While the trailer has disappeared (ahead of its announcement at today's IGN Summer of Gaming), Twinfinite said it has also released details about the game itself, including village burnings and the ability to ride horses.
