A few months ago, Sony announced that the PS4-exclusive "Horizon Zero Dawn" would be available on PC this summer. No price has been announced, but the game can be played for free with the purchase of one of six Ryzen 3000 series desktop CPUs.

As discovered by Resetera forum members, this is part of AMD's new "Fight back with AMD Ryzen" promotion, which is running for a limited time. Eligible processors include the Ryzen 5 3600 and 3600X, Ryzen 7 3700X and 3800X, and Ryzen 9 3900X and 3950X. Many of these CPUs have been drummed up by us as one of the best CPUs for gaming.

This is an "EMEA ONLY" promotion, as AMD's terms and conditions page states in capitals; it is unclear if AMD plans to expand the offering to more regions at some point.

Meanwhile, several retailers are participating, including Scan, OverclockersUK, and Chillblast. Upon purchase of a qualifying processor, a coupon code will be issued, which can be redeemed on AMD's gaming redemption portal. The promotion is valid for purchases through June 30, and the coupon code must be used by July 30, 2020.
