The four-player shooter "GTFO" is heavily based on the "co-op" philosophy. In other words, it's not a game where you have to rely heavily on your teammates to get ahead, and that doesn't seem to be changing with the new information that will be released on June 11.

The run-down, for those who don't know, is a series of expeditions that players can undertake in GTFO, and the new one, called "The Vessel," looks pretty nasty.

We got to see a few minutes of gameplay of "The Vessel" today at IGN's Summer of Games showcase. The video shows hordes of monsters rushing at the player as they creep through yet another dark underground facility. Some of the monsters are sleeping, so the player must creep past them to avoid waking them up. I don't know why the sleeping monsters are worse than the swarming monsters, but somehow they are.
