The latest free games from the Epic Games Store have been revealed: Ark Survival Evolved and Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection.

The second game, however, is an unexpected one, Samurai Shodown Neo-Geo Collection, just released today. This is a collection of six SNK fighting games: Samurai Shodown, Samurai Shodown 2, Samurai Shodown 3, Samurai Shodown 4: Amakusa no Gyakushuu, Samurai Shodown V, and Samurai Shodown V Special. Note that this is not a new series exclusive to the Epic Games Store.

With the end of Epic's mega sale, the mystery freebies have also come to an end, revealing next week's free titles: the first is Pathway, a turn-based roguelike set in the wilderness of the 1930s. This game will not be released until next week, so it will follow "Samurai Shown," which will be free on the first day.

The second game is Team17's "The Escapists 2". It is an open-ended jailbreak sim where you have to remember the schedule and plan your jailbreak while trying not to be found.
