Journey is coming to Steam and Flower will be free for the next two weeks.

After a year of exclusivity on the Epic Games Store, thatgamecompany's acclaimed desert exploration game "Journey" is now available on Steam. Not only that, but publisher Annapurna Interactive is offering thatgamecompany's previous title, the also highly acclaimed "Flower," for free for the next two weeks.

In "Journey," players take on the role of a robed figure in the Great Desert, navigating a path that leads to distant mountains. It is a linear experience across multiple levels, solving some gentle puzzles and occasionally encountering other human players on their journey. Most of your time will be spent on foot, but you can also fly for short periods of time with the help of a magic scarf. As Sean stated in April, "It's a simple concept, but the perfection of it is amazing."

"Flower," released in 2009, is similar in concept. As Jody aptly described it, you are an "invisible petal wizard" flying petals across an idyllic, breezy landscape. There are no enemies, no scores, no nothing; it is truly a contemplative and musical exploration.

Journey is available on Steam for $11/£8.50/€9 until July 9; it is also available on the Epic Games Store, but is not available there.
