Players have been struggling to play "Conan Exiles" since the latest update introduced what the community is calling an always-online requirement.

Funcom announced the introduction of "Funcom Live Services" in update 41, while simultaneously removing the previous Denuvo DRM. While the removal of Denuvo is usually guaranteed to be a home run for any publisher, the update was plagued with connection problems and other bugs, leading to accusations from players that Funcom was interfering with the game's offline play mode.

Although Conan Exiles is primarily an online multiplayer survival game like Rust and Day Z, it has had the ability to allow single-player offline play since its launch.

This problem first occurred on the PlayStation 4 version, where many people had trouble connecting to the servers.
