Gaming PC with GTX 1660 Ti on sale for $800

While building your own PC may be a fun experience for some, it's not a bad idea to buy a pre-built machine with everything ready to go. We have prepared a guide to the best gaming PCs, and a particular model with a GTX 1660 Ti graphics card from Acer is on sale right now for just $799.99. That's $100 off the regular price, and the PC with this graphics card is Newegg's cheapest desktop.

This Acer Nitro 50 gaming PC features a 6-core/6-thread Intel Core i5-9400F processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, a 512GB SSD (type not specified, but likely SATA), 6GB of VRAM, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card, and a 500W power supply. With this hardware, most games will run at 1080p/60FPS for a great experience, and the GTX 1660 Ti is a reliable graphics card for 1440p games, although some titles may require lower visual settings. See our GTX 1660 Ti review for more details.

The only glaring issue with this build is memory; 16GB of RAM is slowly becoming the minimum requirement for a solid PC gaming experience, but this desktop only has 8GB (according to Newegg's spec sheet), with four RAM slots and only one sticking 8GB The additional memory can easily be added, as it is filled with a single 8GB module; adding another 8GB module will only cost about $30.

Aside from the small amount of RAM, this is a solid entry-level gaming PC. If that's not quite what you're looking for, check out our list of the best gaming PCs.
