Cloud Punk to release luxury collector's edition on PC

I really like the cyberpunk distribution game Cloudpunk, and I think the 80/100 review is spot on: the story (narrative) and voice acting are challenging in places, but it's an absolutely gorgeous experience visually and aurally, and the whole thing comes together beautifully.

For that reason, and because contrary to common sense, I am a big fan of boxed games, I was I was disappointed when they announced it. Apparently I wasn't the only one: hours after the studio said it would "fight for it," it announced that it would also be releasing collector's editions for PC and Xbox.

Ion Lands said that its initial decision to bypass the PC was "simply a matter of feasibility," but that the response to its initial announcement on Twitter helped convince the company to produce a physical edition. [Ion Lands founder Marko Dieckmann explained that. In the past, signature editions for Xbox and PC have been hit or miss. But Cloudpunk is a very PC-centric game, so it makes sense. After all, that's what the game was (initially) developed for.

The Cloudpunk Signature Edition includes the game, soundtrack CD, art prints, and enamel pins in a "sturdy" sleeved box. Obviously a niche interest, but if you're interested, you can take a closer look at signatureeditiongames.com (you can't order yet). In case you missed it, a recent update to Cloudpunk added a first-person perspective option, and it is stunning.
