CD Projekt Red's epic RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is being adapted into a comic book. Titled Trauma Team and published by Dark Horse Comics, the first issue will be released on September 9.

The spin-off will focus on Trauma Team International, a private organization serving the medical needs of Knight City. They are one of the most powerful and feared corporations in the game.

According to Dark Horse Comics' description, the comic will follow Nadia, an emergency medical technician for Trauma Team International and the sole survivor of a failed rescue mission. After she agrees to keep her job for the next rescue mission, Nadia and her new team find themselves in even more dangerous and life-threatening situations."

We have seen bits and pieces of Trauma Team International through various trailers for Cyberpunk 2077; in the first trailer released in 2018, we see their armored flying car.

The September release of the comic was supposed to line up nicely with the game's release, but unfortunately Cyberpunk 2077's release date was postponed for a second time.
