Geralt returns to monster hunting after long break Netflix's "The Witcher" Season 2 was suspended after the coronavirus hit the U.K., but with the relaxation of national restrictions, including Arborfield Studios, where "The Witcher" is being filmed, Studios have reopened.
Plans to reopen the studios began earlier this month, with Henry Cavill announcing his impending return to work with a selfie of Jim, August 17.
Netflix made this announcement on Twitter, along with a non-canon poem by Jasker.
By the time production resumes, it will have been on hiatus for five months. Season 2 was not expected until 2021, possibly later than Netflix originally planned. No release date has yet been announced.
Season 1 aired in December, which feels like so long ago now that I barely remember it. I watched the finale at someone else's house. I watched it in a pub. What an odd concept! Maybe it's time for a rerun and I'll get everyone to join Zoom.
