General
Project Cars 3 will be released on August 28.

Earlier this month, we got our first look at Project Cars 3, and it's already nearing completion; starting August 28, you'll be able to drive on the track.

This is the first Project Cars since Codemasters acquired developer Slightly Mad Studios in November, taking some cues from other recent racing sims, reworking the career mode, and throwing upgrades into the mix. This way, if you find a car that suits you, you can improve that car throughout your career and stay behind the wheel.

Previously, you could tune your car and add cosmetic embellishments, but now the upgrades are more extensive, and other players in online races can see your custom colors and paint jobs.

In addition to the quick play, event-based, and custom multiplayer modes, an asynchronous mode, Rivals, has been added where you can compete against other players in daily, weekly, and monthly challenge events and move up and down the leaderboards based on your performance The game allows players to move up and down the leaderboards based on their performance.

Despite the announced release date, publisher Namco Bandai has not stated a PC platform, and the game is not yet listed on Steam or the Epic Games Store.
