Warframe's solar system map, like the actual solar system, is very large, and unlocking all the worlds and completing numerous missions will keep you busy for some time. But if you have already conquered these worlds, you can move on to the hard mode "Steel Path," which will be tested later this week.

Digital Extremes has not revealed much about this new system, but we do know that the "Steel Path" will offer players a new series of trickier missions with exclusive rewards such as decorations, emotes, and masteries.

Whatever form they take, they apparently won't be complicated. It's not a big new layer that you have to wrap your head around, nor is it divided into tiers.

Only about 1,000 players will have access this time, although those who have already cleared the map can apply for the test now. There are no patch notes yet, and a full launch date has not been set.
