The annual indie games festival BitSummit was scheduled to take place in Kyoto this May, but was canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Its replacement is BitSummit Gaiden, an online event that includes a Twitch stream and Discord server.

More than 75 games from around the country and abroad will be on display, with streamable demos available on Utomik rather than at the event. All games are divided into 5 teams, which can be seen on the map of the event.
