While 343 Industries is working on "Halo 3" and "Halo Infinite," it appears there is still time to focus on Master Chief's early adventures. when "Halo 3" is added to the Master Chief Collection, "Halo:. Combat Evolved" will be treated in the same manner.
"Halo" players will be able to skin their visors, weapons, and vehicles. This is an optional feature that can be turned off for players who wish to keep the old style, but otherwise players will be able to enjoy the new colors and decorations.
Not unlike Halo 3's customization system, it is not just the color of the armor that can be changed. Many of the skins still seem to be just new colors, but there are a few flashier skins that stand out more. Some screenshots of the menu can be seen in the latest development update.
Both Covenant and UNSC have these options, and the default skins have been enhanced. When a skin is changed, it is applied to guns and vehicles that are picked up and maintains their appearance even if they are dropped or dismounted. If someone else starts using it, it will change to the skin they have chosen.
343 Industries started with "Halo" but probably won't stop there, as it didn't have the customization options of later games. They are considering introducing more customization in other games in future seasons.
Another major addition to MCC is Forge; when Halo 3 launches, this mode will be added, allowing players to customize and share maps from Halo 2, Halo: Reach, and Halo 3. PC players will be able to share maps that Xbox One players However, at launch, players will not be able to upload maps created on the PC. However, they will be able to share files outside of the game and have other players copy them manually.
While a release date for Halo 3 has not yet been set, it appears to be in the mid-stage of development. However, 343 will be discussing the roadmap for the rest of the year in an upcoming blog post, so we should soon have a clearer idea of when it will appear.
