Team 17 Digital has announced Worms Rumble, a new entry in the Worms series." It's a real-time, arena-based, 32-player "action shooter. The game features new and old Worms: "In Deathmatch mode and Last Worm Standing mode, you can escape from death with a single grenade.
The first part is new; the second is very familiar, as any "Worm" player will tell you. In particular, note that it often doesn't matter whether it was you or the enemy who threw the Holy Hand grenade.

Early commenters were quick to point out that the trailer did not feature destructible terrain, a classic since the beginning of the "Worms" series. Team 17 quickly commented on YouTube that there is destructible terrain on every level in the game. What can be destroyed varies from map to map.
