Epic Gamestore stops giving away free copies of "Conan Exiles" and postpones its release.

"Conan Exiles" and "Hue" were slated to be the latest free games on the Epic Games Store, but just before the giveaway campaign was to begin, Epic announced that it had decided to delay the launch.

Funcom's survival MMO has been around for some time, but had not yet been released on the Epic Games Store, and the free offering was supposed to coincide with its launch. It has now been delayed until undated and will not be free.

This seems to have been very last minute, as Funcom was still announcing it until Epic announced the change; Conan Exiles has been available on Steam for years, so there shouldn't be too many surprises, but whatever the reason, neither Epic nor Funcom explained for whatever reason, neither Epic nor Funcom has given an explanation.

Hue, however, is still available. The game will be available for free until July 9, at which point it will replace Killing Floor 2, Lifeless Planet, and The Escapists 2, which were scheduled to appear in June.
