French studio Spiders makes decent RPGs. Last year's "GreedFall" was particularly interesting: Lauren recommended it "with a caveat," but you can read her review about it.

Nacon, Spiders' parent company, announced the upcoming release on Twitter earlier today. It's definitely a Spiders game, but aside from a rather vague image (embedded below), we'll have to wait until July 7 for more specific details.

Spiders tends not to make sequels. The studio has eight games, not one of which is a sequel to another. Nevertheless, "GreedFall" seems to have received better reviews than its predecessors like "The Technomancer," "Bound by Flame," and "Of Orcs and Men." The 17th century fantasy setting is certainly enough to flesh it out a bit more. It was unique.

There are a fair amount of teasers going on right now, but at least Nacon hasn't done the kind of teaser that Shadow Warrior's official account did today.
