17" gaming laptop with GTX 1650 Ti on sale today for $750

Looking for a new gaming laptop, Best Buy has the Acer Nitro 5 with 17.3" IPS display featuring an Intel 10th generation Core i5 10300H Comet Lake CPU and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU is available now for $749.99.

This is as inexpensive as it gets for a gaming laptop with a built-in GTX 1650 Ti and Intel's latest generation lineup of CPUs. To put this in perspective, the next cheapest laptop with a GTX 1650 Ti at Best Buy is the Asus ROG Strix G15 model, which sells for $899.99.

This is essentially a larger version of the 15.6-inch Nitro 5 we featured last week. The only real drawback is that the RAM is reduced to 8GB instead of 16GB, but it is $130 cheaper. With this price difference, you can upgrade the RAM yourself and still gain.

The laptop also comes with a 512GB SSD. Ideally, I'd like at least 1TB of primary storage, but it's nice to see manufacturers starting to move away from the game-filling 256GB, and 512GB gives you some welcome leeway.

On the connectivity front, the laptop has Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, HDMI out, and a Gigabit LAN port. Overall, it is quite substantial for the price.
