AMD will bundle "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" with select Ryzen CPUs.

AMD has launched a new "Equipped to Win" bundle offer to coincide with the release of its refreshed Ryzen 3000XT series CPUs. The offer is fairly straightforward: purchase a qualifying processor or gaming PC at participating retailers and receive a code to use "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" at no additional charge.

There are six types of eligible stand-alone processors. They include:

The current generation of Ryzen 7 processors and above, including the new Ryzen 9 3900XT and Ryzen 7 3800XT. However, the new Ryzen 5 3600XT (and all other Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 chips) are not eligible.

This is somewhat disappointing, but if you were planning to upgrade to a high-end Ryzen setup anyway, this is a nice perk. The cheapest option is the Ryzen 7 3700X, which is currently available on Newegg for $289.99.

Interestingly, none of the new "XT" processors qualify for the bundle if purchased as part of a pre-built desktop. Eligible desktop and gaming laptop configurations include:

The bundle offer runs through October 3, 2020 and expires at 11:59 PM EST or earlier if AMD's code supply runs out. The code will expire at 11:59 p.m. EST or earlier if AMD no longer supplies the code. Codes must be used by November 7, 2020.

Please check the Terms and Conditions for more details. Curiously, however, there is no list of participating vendors for standalone CPU purchases (AMD only lists system builders such as AVADirect, CyberPower PC, Digital Storm, and Maingear) in Newegg's list of eligible CPUs, clearly describes this campaign, so if you use another vendor, we recommend checking to see if your vendor of choice is participating in this campaign.
