The Steam Summer Sale ends today.

General
The Steam Summer Sale ends today.

Just a reminder that the Steam Summer Sale ends today. If you've had your eye on a game and can't decide, now is the time. I mean, the fall sale starts in a few months.

This sale is different. Instead of big new events and mini-games, it's simply a great sale and a new feature in the Steam Point Store. There was also an add-on sale offering £5 off the first purchase of £30 or more, which was a direct response to the Epic Games Store's own voucher system, and seasonal sales regularly offer games at ridiculously low prices.

These don't make up for the disappointing loss of daily sales and flash sales that I enjoyed a few years ago, but at the same time I find it nice that the sales are not clogged up with pointless loads of mini-games. Points earned in this sale will carry over into the past, so don't worry about spending them right away.

As always, /r/GameDealsMeta has a great thread listing the best deals you may have missed. There's also SteamDB, which helps you find games with more than a certain user rating if you want to get the best deals.

My personal highlight of the sale is Supraland, a game that combines Portal's first-person physics-based puzzles with a Metroidvania-style open-ended exploration world. I devote almost all of my free time to this game, and I can absolutely recommend it for the price of £6.97. [Sale ends today (July 9, 2020) at 10 a.m. ET (6 p.m. PT).
