Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft's subscription-based service that gives you unlimited access to over 100 games for just $5 a month; $5 doesn't buy a decent burger, and the list of games included is impressive.

It doesn't include "Cyberpunk 2077," at least not for a while. Earlier this week, VentureBeat's Jeff Grubb mused on Twitter about third-party console exclusives, noting, for example, that Microsoft could pay CD Projekt to launch Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox Game Pass to give its competitors' plans a shot in the arm. He pointed out that they could throw a wrench into their competitors' plans. [Indeed, rumors circulated in May that Cyberpunk 2077 would launch on Xbox Game Pass, but Microsoft quickly denied them. Radek Grabowski, lead PR manager at developer CD Projekt Red, said Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games in years, and I don't see CD Projekt backing away from the huge sales it will generate. Nevertheless, the question may remain unanswered, so it is safe to assume that the matter is officially settled.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 19, and CD Projekt recently released new concept art for the game's upscale Westbrook neighborhood.
