Today's Ubisoft Forward live stream will not feature workplace abuse allegations

In today's Ubisoft Forward live stream, you can hear about games such as "Assassin's Creed," "Watch Dogs: Legion," and "Far Cry 6: Valhalla," "Watch Dogs: Legion," and "Far Cry 6" But Ubisoft is not the only one who is interested in the game. However, Ubisoft will not address the multiple allegations of workplace misconduct and harassment it is currently facing in the broadcast, the company said in a tweet today.

Ubisoft Forward will not address the allegations or the several Ubisoft executives involved, including Chief Creative Officer Serge Hascoe, Managing Director of Ubisoft's Canadian studio Yannis Marat, Global Head of Human Resources Cécile Cornet), did not appear to mention the resignation of any of them.

In a statement on Twitter, Ubisoft said that the Ubisoft Forward stream is fully pre-recorded, so the matter will not be "directly addressed". Although the resignation is recent, allegations of harassment and assault against Ubisoft employees were first publicly posted three weeks ago, and the company admitted on June 25 that it "needs to do better." Ubisoft simply does not want to talk about these issues in the same forum in which it promotes its new games.

Even the above tweet only refers to "a period of major change within the company" and "issues we are currently working on" rather than specifically mentioning the nature of the problem.

"We still have important work to do and are committed to this process," the statement concludes. We will provide an update shortly."
