Launch of "Rogue Legacy 2" Early Access delayed one month.

The Early Access launch of "Rogue Legacy 2," which was scheduled for release next week, has been pushed back to August 18, studio Cellar Door Games announced. The delay is due to unforeseen problems during development.

"While we were stabilizing the game for launch, we ran into some minor setbacks, but more importantly, some features were nearing completion and absolutely had to be done. This means more content, more stability, and better value for money on launch day."

If the first game is any indication, it will be worth the wait. The studio plans to release 1.0 within the next year, with major updates for the Early Access version coming every two months, with minor updates in between. According to the game's Steam page, the Early Access version will feature a "complete game loop," but biomes, rooms, character classes, and traits will be added during development.
