Flight Simulator Teases Partnership with Online Flight Network VATSIM

Microsoft Flight Simulator has announced a partnership with the Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network (VATSIM) for the release of a new edition of the simulator, scheduled for release on August 18.VATSIM is, long-standing organization in the flight simulation community and is a non-profit organization that provides a network where users fly as pilots or direct air traffic as air traffic controllers and create simulations of real-life air traffic. VATSIM will ensure that their network is at launch compatible with flight simulators.

The teaser consists of beautiful panoramic shots of planes and detailed radar screens, accompanied by music and crackling radio chatter from those planes and air traffic controllers. It's even more of the beautiful scenery we've become accustomed to seeing in this game. Speaking of which, "Flight Simulator" is already pre-installed and available via Xbox Game Pass.

You can learn more about VATSIM on their website. If you are interested, learning how VATSIM works is a task that can begin well before Flight Simulator is released on August 18. For more information on the new Flight Simulator, you can check out everything we know about it.
