General
Sales of "Batman: Arkham City" totaled $12.5 million, with over $600 million in sales.

As the sequel to the best Batman game up to that point (some might still say the best), Arkham City was bound to sell well, but now we have a clearer picture of exactly how well it sold. Thanks to Twitter detective @bogorad222, we now have a more detailed figure.

A Linkedin profile of Warner Bros.' Global Franchise Marketing Manager for Arkham City details that 12.5 million units of Arkham City were sold in the first year alone. It also states that it generated over $600 million in revenue. This is amazing. If you are wondering if there will ever be another Batman game, numbers like these point to a "yes."

They also compiled some information on other high-selling games, including the fact that the "Ace Attorney" trilogy outsold the "Ace Attorney" trilogy: the "Ace Attorney" trilogy beat its sales target by 150% in its first month of release, "Ryse: Son of Rome" 1.3 million copies of "Ryse: Son of Rome" sold.
