No unlocked multipliers are included. These chips have a "K" in the model name, as does the similarly spec'd 10700K, which is priced $100 higher on Newegg. They are also priced higher because they are overall faster CPUs.

The non-K 10700 is a fine alternative, especially when paired with a mid-range or high-end GPU. It is a great chip for building a gaming PC, with both single-threaded and multi-threaded performance.
