With Cyberpunk 2077 still months away, scammers are trying to take advantage of eager prospective players and offer them a chance to be among the first to play in the nonexistent beta. CD Projekt Red, the Twitter account for Cyberpunk 2077 through which they posted a warning that they would not be sending out beta invites and reiterated that there were no plans for a beta.

In the unlikely event that these emails make it past your spam filter, please check まず@cdprojektred.comからのメールであること and make sure it is not an unofficial address. CD Projekt Red should be wary of content creators as well, as they are not the only ones who have received these emails, studios, adding that they always contact them directly, not through a third party.
