Stardew Valley creator Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone announced today that he is working with Fangamer on a collector's edition of the game.

The Stardew Valley Collector's Edition will include, in Fangamer's words:

The whole thing comes in a box, so it must be pretty heavy; pre-order by August 15 and you'll get a bonus 10x16 poster will also be included.

The Collector's Edition for PC costs $64, which seems very reasonable to me. However, Fangamer explained on Twitter that the recent renegotiation of international postal agreements has made the old "economy" shipping option more expensive than FedEx to most countries. We are working on cheaper options, but nothing is ready yet.

For those who like the idea of a boxed "Stardew Valley" but find the CE price a bit too high, a regular edition in a traditional DVD case is also available for $29 plus shipping. In any case, note that this is a pre-order and the box will not actually ship until after November 6.
