Lenovo ultra-wide 144Hz gaming monitors on sale for $799 ($400 off)

What's more fun than an ultrawide monitor? Lenovo's Legion Y44-w10 32:10 gaming monitor is available at Microsoft's online store for $799. That's a $400 discount off the original price.

This massive curved monitor has a resolution of 3840x1200 and an aspect ratio of 16:5 (or 32:10). It has a peak brightness of 450 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 3000:1, and an HDR400-compatible Samsung VA panel. The monitor also has four pass-through USB Type-A ports and a 3.5mm audio output.

The Legion Y44-w10 supports refresh rates up to 144 Hz using AMD FreeSync; G-Sync compatibility has not been certified by Nvidia, and we could find no reports of anyone trying it in unofficial G-Sync mode So, unfortunately, you are on your own if you buy this for your Nvidia-equipped PC.

Our friends at TechRadar reviewed this monitor earlier this year and found that while the design and build quality are excellent, the VA display panel is not the best in the business. However, at this $400 discount, it may be worth the compromise.
