QuakeCon at Home Schedule Promises Cosplay, Competitions, Cooking Show

No one is going to QuakeCon this year; after canceling the live show due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Bethesda has announced that the show will be held digitally from August 7-9.

The fact that QuakeCon will run from August 7-9 is a real problem for fans, from Welcome to QuakeCon at Home, where Bethesda SVP Pete Hines will explain the itinerary on August 7 at 9 am PT/12 pm ET to August 9 at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET, to Evil Within 2 game designer and director John Johanas playing the game and discussing it with community manager Jonny Roses, it's nonstop.

Highlights this year include the Doom Eternal panel with Hugo Martin and Marty Stratton at 7:30 PM ET and the Quake World Championship Grand Finals at 5 PM ET on August 9. There will also be a cosplay showcase by the Australian and New Zealand Cosplay Competition on August 9 at 12:00 a.m. ET, and an interview with Australian Fallout cosplay creator 5NOVCreations on August 8 at 3:00 a.m. ET.

"Dishonored," "Prey," "The Elder Scrolls Online" and "Skyrim" will also be featured in various streams at QuakeCon at Home. No mention of Starfield or The Elder Scrolls 6, however. But this is not unexpected: Starfield is still only a faint blip on the radar, and TES6 is even further away.
