Private Division has announced that it is partnering with prominent game studios such as Moon Studios, League of Geeks, and Roll7 to publish games from their respective developers. The titles of the games have not yet been announced and will not be released until 2022 at the earliest.
However, we do know a little about the upcoming game: according to a job posting on the Moon Studios website, Moon Studios is working on a new action RPG. According to the founders, that game will have Moon Studios "aiming even higher" than "Ori and the Blind Forest" and its sequel.
The League of Geeks, known for its strategy game Armello, is working on an "ambitious new game-as-a-service project," according to a job posting. In a press release, League of Geeks said that partnering with Private Division will allow it to "grow the studio along with our ambitions."
Roll7 states that working with Private Division is "the next jump forward in their mission to create amazing, flow state games." That sounds less like Roll7's action shooter "Not A Hero" or multiplayer sports game "Laser League" and more like the BAFTA award-winning skate game "OlliOlli."
Private Division is the publishing label of Take-Two Interactive, which also owns 2K and Rockstar. In recent years, Private Division has published Ancestors: A Human Odyssey, Outer Worlds, and Disintegration, and plans to publish Kerbal Space Program 2 in the fall of 2021.
