I have always wanted to visit the pyramids of Egypt. But most cases are rectangular or square; Azza's new Pyramid Mini 806 is not like other cases. As the model's name suggests

, this is a miniature pyramid for a small PC, and serves as a compact showpiece. And for some reason, I am strangely attracted to this design.

Indeed, I don't think pyramids are a practical form factor for packing computer parts, and I am acutely aware of that. This is because most of the dozens of cases offered by Azza are rectangular. But this one is different.

The Pyramini Mini 806 measures 435 (H) x 368 (W) x 386 (D) and is made of aluminum, with enough room for a mini-ITX motherboard, not micro-ATX or larger. This is because there are many high-performance mini-ITX motherboards on the market, like the Asus ROG Strix X570-I Gaming.

Each of the four side panels is tempered glass, allowing you to see your handiwork from all angles. The back panel is raised to allow access to the setup's various I/O ports.

For cooling, there is only one 120mm fan on top. Photos show space for airflow at the top and bottom of the side panel; Azza also notes that the power supply is housed in a chamber at the bottom so that heat from the power supply does not affect other components.

How well all of this works, or how it will work when incorporated, I cannot say. But it is certainly unique, and according to TechPowerUp, it will be available in November for about 249 euros (about $292).
