The trailer for "Flight Catastrophe" will convince you to stick to bus travel!

Fresh off the horrors of the automotive crash investigation simulator "Accident," this arrived in my inbox. It's a trailer for Flight Catastrophe, a simulator about the horrific events that take place inside a commercial airliner. The trailer is... What the heck. You can watch it below, although you may want to skip it if you don't want to see terrified plane passengers being blown apart and a burning plane hurtling toward the ground.

No doubt you've already scrolled down to see it, but we'll keep typing here anyway. In "Flight Catastrophe," you are piloting a huge commercial jet loaded with passengers and crew. The situations range from engine failure to in-flight fires to terrorist hostages armed with guns and grenades.

What do you do? Do you tell the flight attendants to disarm the terrorists? As the trailer indicates: no, don't do that.

If it fails and the plane is punctured, you can rewind and try something else, like having the air marshals on board deal with it. Probably the best idea would be to prevent passengers from bringing grenades onto the plane, but that doesn't seem to be an option here.

Flight Catastrophe is not scheduled for release until late 2021, which would explain why the screenshot on the Steam page is just an image taken from a rendered trailer, and why "passengers" is spelled wrong every time! .... The game isn't finished yet and won't be for a while. In the meantime, if you need to get around, consider taking the bus.
