RTX 2070 Super-equipped gaming PC on sale for $1,250

Building your own desktop is usually cheaper than buying an off-the-shelf machine, but there is definitely a reason consoles are so popular. Some people like to buy something ready-to-use right out of the box, and sometimes a sale can make an off-the-shelf PC a bargain: an ABS desktop with an RTX2070 super graphics card is currently on sale for $1,249.99, a $250 discount from the original MSRP. It is also currently the lowest price on Newegg for a PC with this graphics card.

The desktop on sale is powered by an Intel Core i7-9700 processor, which is not Intel's new 10th generation CPU but still has 8 cores and 8 threads. It also comes with 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD for storage, and a B365 motherboard; given the small number of 1TB SSDs available for around $100, a larger SSD might have been nice, but at least it's an easy upgrade down the road It would have been possible.

The biggest selling point is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super graphics card, a GPU that is ideal for 1440p and 4K gaming. You can read more about this in our original review of the 2070 Super, which also includes benchmarks of several popular games.

Finally, because it wouldn't be a gaming PC without unnecessary lights, ABS added four 120M RGB fans to the front of the case. The desktop also features 4mm tempered glass side panels that allow you to see everything that is happening inside the PC.
