When can we see Rocksteady's "Suicide Squad" release?

With so many rumors flying around, we will soon find out what kind of game Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Montreal are working on. Of course, Rocksteady has already confirmed that they are making a Suicide Squad game, but they are keeping the details under wraps for now.

These reveals are part of the DC Fandome event, which kicks off next weekend on August 22; DC announced the schedule today, with the first two games to be revealed in the next few weeks. Wonder Woman 1984, Black Adam, the Snyder cut of Justice League, and more.

Warner Bros. Montreal will be the first to announce at 6:30 PM BST / 10:30 AM PDT, but so far DC has not revealed the name of the game; it could very well be "Gotham Knights," which was registered in June with the "Suicide Squad" domain is extremely likely.

Not surprisingly, "Gotham Knights" is expected to be a Batman romp, and the Montreal studio began teasing the Batman connection last year. "Arkham Origins" was developed by Rocksteady, which has never reached the heights of its games. While it didn't reach them, it was a solid entry in the series. One theory is that it is based on the excellent Court of Owls storyline, which pits the Caped Crusader against a mysterious organization that has secretly controlled Gotham throughout its history.

Suicide Squad will be unveiled at 1:00 am (5:00 pm CST) near the end of the event. So far all we have gotten is an image of Superman with a target on his head. But is it really Superman? His face looks a bit messed up and the color palette is all wrong. But the full name gives us a further clue. It's "Suicide Squad: take down the Justice League. In other words, this is definitely Supes, and he is most likely not the only target. More details will be known in a week.
