Fall Guys May Get "Ask Me About My Butthole" Shirts Thanks to Charity

August 19 update: Tushy is back in the mix after being outbid, with an offer of $420,069.69 and a "Peach Guy" costume to go with the shirt.

August 17: Fall Guys is making waves. Not only is this adorable battle royale topping Twitch charts and attracting as many players as GTA 5 on Steam, it's also being courted furiously by other brands thanks to its popularity and Very Online Twitter account. Companies from Walmart to KFC are pitching the Fall Guys cosmetic idea, trying to get their brands into the game as wearable costumes.

The Fall Guys' Twitter account took advantage of this increased attention to their brand by issuing a challenge earlier today called "Battle of the Brands":

If you ask me, this is a great idea. Brands are always chattering non-stop on Twitter anyway, so they should support charitable causes. Special Effect is a charity that helps disabled people play and enjoy video games. (In fact, PC Gamer has partnered with Special Effect to give away a GSP 370 headset every month for a year as part of an awareness campaign.

Bidding began immediately. For example, Warframe pledged $20,000 for Lotus skins. Gaming server host Bisect Hosting donated $38,880 and apparel manufacturer Sidemen donated $40,000.

So far, so good. Then a company called Tushy, which manufactures bidets, threw its hat into the ring. Well, not a hat. It's a butt.

Sold for $40,000 and one cent, Tushy's Fall Guy skin concept was a shirt that read, "Ask me about my butthole."

First off, I think bidets are great and everyone should have one (I don't currently have one, but hope to someday). Would I wear a "Ask Me About My Butthole" shirt at Fall Guys? I would wear it. (I might not wear it in real life because I'm worried about people asking about my anus.)

But the real question is whether this costume could actually appear in "The Fall Guys!" Since Tushy's bid, Bisect Hosting has upped their bid to $50,000, and YouTuber MrBeast has upped the ante to a whopping $100,000! Since Tushy's bid, Bisect Hosting has upped their bid to $50,000, and YouTuber MrBeast has upped the ante to a whopping $100,000 (though they have not said exactly what their costume concept is).

That doesn't mean Tushy won't strike back and outbid MrBeast. This just started today, and the charity drive is set to last two weeks, plenty of time for Tushy's anal shirt to come out on top.

Meanwhile, the Fall Guys have stated that if the winner is "offensive/inappropriate," they will "eat" their pledge and pick the next highest one. In other words, even if Tushy wins, he may lose. Either way, we will keep you all informed.
