Barring any further delays, Watch Dogs Legion will launch on October 29. The appeal of Ubisoft's open-world game is that you can recruit any randomly generated NPC into your DedSec team of activist hackers. [construction worker, musician, celebrity, murderer, ambulance driver ....... In other words, you can add everyone from an elderly grandmother to a skilled MI6 spy to your team.

But what about an elderly grandmother who is an MI6 spy? In a Reddit AMA, Creative Director Clint Hocking answered a number of questions about "Watch Dogs Legion" today, and as expected, some of the questions As expected, some of the questions were about grandma.

Early in the AMA, someone asked if it was possible to find a grandmother with a "gankata takedown" - gankata is a skill that allows a character to instantly take down a gun while holding it up. However, he was an assassin, not a retired florist, which suited his character very well.

Hocking responded that it is possible for a grandmother to spawn with the military flag skill, but it is "extremely unlikely/unlikely". Since Legion's elderly characters are less mobile and cannot hide or sprint, and since military flags are a skill for trained weapons experts, it is not very likely that they would find a grandmother with a military flag, but it is not out of the realm of possibility, apparently.

Another player asked if it is possible to form an "MI6 spy granny army" in Legion.

"A spy grandmother would be incredibly rare. 'I've never seen one, and it would be one in a billion to see more than one per play. If you get a spy crew of grandmothers, be sure to share it with us!"

While the odds are certainly against it, it is likely that some players will still manage to pull it off. The team of designers and testers will not play the game before launch and see unusual combinations of attributes being created through random generation. But after launch, when potentially hundreds of thousands of players all jump into Legion, it's a different story.

In other words, don't give up on your beautiful dream of organizing an all-grandma spy squad. Someone will step into Legion's London, find a bunch of old spies hanging out in a pub, and make it happen.
