Scott Cawthon, creator and developer of the "Five Nights at Freddy's" series, is giving back to his gaming community by working with some of the most passionate fan game creators Fazbear Fanverse Initiative" aims to invest in five games and worlds created by fan creators with ties to the FNaF community. The lineup includes a remake of the original "Five Nights at Freddy's."

The game's creator will receive funding and publishing support from Cawthon, but he will not be involved in the game's development. The game will be released for free on GameJolt.

"There have been some great fan-made spin-off universes created in this community, and I would love to see them continue.

The released games will be bundled with other games in the same series "such as classic editions, remakes, and mini-games" before being sold on consoles and mobile devices. There are also plans to create toys and merchandise based on the games.

The initial lineup of games includes: Emile's Five Nights at Candy's 4; Nixon's The Joy of Creation: The Ignited Collection by Nixon; Pop Goes Evergreen by Kane; Jonochrome by One Night at Frumpties 3, and a "remake/re-imagining" of Five Nights at Freddy's by Fisnom.
