The good news is that Electronic Arts is now adding achievements to more than 20 games on Steam, and as long as you have completed the required tasks in the past, even on Origin, you can get the recognition you crave.

"Due to popular demand, EA has enabled over 1000 Steam achievements for a number of recently released games, including "Battlefield V," "Titanfall 2," and "Need for Speed Heat," EA said.

"You can now complete specific goals during gameplay and unlock achievements as a result. In other words, if you have already achieved a goal on Origin or Steam, you have achieved it on Steam."

Achievements have been added to these games:

I tested importing achievements in Titanfall 2 and it worked flawlessly: the first time I launched the game on Steam, it worked its magic and the 33/50 achievements earned in Origin immediately took over! The 33/50 achievements earned on Origin were instantly carried over, as were the in-game collectibles and mastery achievement records.

The only limitation is that achievements do not transfer over until the game in question is actually installed and running.
