There is a unique frustration that comes with encountering cheaters in a game like "Fall Guys." The randomness brought about by both the environment and fellow players means that everyone should theoretically be on the same playing field, but in some cases, they are on the same wildly uneven seesaw. Watching other players pass by you at much faster speeds than you should be able to run, or worse, simply fly over your head, can turn what should have been a spirited battle for the last bean into a particularly frustrating and unfair experience.

In the three weeks since the game's release, a number of issues have been identified and patched. Yesterday, it was announced via the official Fall Guys Twitter account that cheaters will now be more directly affected for their actions.

The tweet described anti-cheating as a "top priority" and outlined proposed changes that would result in offenders being immediately blocked rather than having their current show ended before they are booted.

There are no details yet on how this would be implemented without affecting the experience of innocent players who are unlucky enough to be matched with a cheater. There is also no in-game reporting feature, although Mediatonic has stated that players are not required to report cheaters. Apparently, by the time a report is received, the cheater in question has usually already been found and dealt with.
