Logitech's new gaming gear brings a little color to your PC setup, rather than just relying on RGB LEDs.

Logitech has announced the new G733 Lightspeed wireless gaming headset. That's right, of course.

The headset has an ultralight 9.8-ounce frame and is available in blue, lilac, white, and black.

"As gaming becomes a bigger part of pop culture, personal expression and style becomes a bigger part of a gamer's identity," says Ujesh Desai, general manager of Logitech G.

The headset is also available in a variety of colors and sizes.

Essentially, Logitech G appears on Twitch's celebrity-focused streams, which reads like viewers wanting to personalize their own style by copying a particular streamer's setup in its entirety. Yay, personalized.

Because you can also collect peripherals in a headset, keyboard, and mouse set. Logitech's new color collection includes the G203 and G305 gaming mice and the G915 TKL gaming keyboard. At the very least, this means that there will be gaming peripherals that are not only available in black.

Logitech is not in our Best Wireless Headsets guide, but its new angular design could make a dent in the rankings. However, with SteelSeries currently dominating the rankings, Logitech has its work cut out for it.

As is absolutely necessary with peripherals these days, there is a chance to personalize the headset's lightsync RGB LEDs with Logitech's familiar G HUB software and create a light show fit for a queen.

We recently checked out the higher-spec G Pro X wireless headset with the same PRO-G drivers, and while the DTS Headphone:X 2.0 surround sound won't be the richest audio experience in the world, at least the Blue VO!CE microphone sounds great and is completely removable, so you won't accidentally break it.

With up to 29 hours of battery life (when the RGB light show is not turned on), a 20-meter reach, and USB compatibility with PS4, this is definitely a product to watch. Personally, I can't wait to slip into this classy, retro-futuristic gear. Can you imagine how cool a matching lilac gaming setup would look?

The G733 Lightspeed Headset itself will retail for $130 (£130) and will come with a two-year warranty. This is a premium price for adding a nice personal flair to your battle station, especially against some of today's more affordable wireless headsets. Whether you're okay with it or not probably depends on how much a little personal expression and style is worth to you.
