General
Observer System Redux is now available on PC and demos are available.

The Bloober Team, known for its "Layers of Fear" series, branched out into gritty cyberpunk with 2017's "Observer". Not to Jodi's liking, the game managed to gain a following among those hungry for morbid futuristic horror. So much so that a new edition is being released in the form of Observer: a console version was announced earlier this year, but a PC version has also been decided.

Called the "definitive" version of the game, "System Redux" has three new side cases, new "game mechanics" and improved stealth. There is also "additional neurointerrogation.

System Redux also looks great with upgraded textures, ray tracing support, and HDR lighting. Animations are given a sparkle as well as models and effects.

There is good news and bad news: this is not a free upgrade for owners of the original Observer, but there is a 10% discount now on Steam if you pre-order. The good news is that there is a demo available now so you can see for yourself if the improvement is worth buying twice.

Observer System Redux is scheduled for release in late 2020. Here's the trailer:
